The Class of 53

We had some very important visitors who came to our school.
They were the class of 53! They went to this school in 1953 and they wanted to see what it is like now.
We had a powhiri to welcome them to our school.

Personal Narratives on PhotoPeach These pieces of writing are based around activities we do on weekends or in the holidays. We have worked on making each sentence exciting to read by using adjectives and verbs. We also tried to describe events without specifically saying what they were. I wonder if you can guess what Room 10 children have experienced?

We love using the Spelling Wizard app to learn our spelling words. This person is a whizz at this game. Now he needs the next level up!!

School Cross Country

It is nearly time for us to hold our school cross country for 2013. We have been working hard to train so we can run up and down hills, round the field and out onto the road with enthusiasm and stamina.

We are really hoping to achieve our goals. We hope parents and whanau can come and see us run.
