- understand the structure of a Haiku poem.
- experiment with language, using rhythm and imagery to create our own haiku.
Haiku Poetry
A type of Japanese poetry composed of three unrhymed lines of five, seven and five syllables.
Reflects on aspects of nature e.g weather, animals, seasons, that creates a picture in your mind.
