Art in Room 10

We started making our daffodils a while ago now! We wanted to do something different with our sketches so we decided to make papier mache daffodils from them.

It took a long time as we had to wait for each coat of paper to dry before we applied another layer.

It was really tricky getting the paper to stick to the wire too.

After we made them and painted them, we added two coats of P.V.A. glue to make them shiny.

We love our daffodils, we hope you do too!

I love how you did those daffodils.
I think that with your goal how you attached leaves to a steam and painted the flowers with glue to make it glossy.
    Smart idea guys.
All you need to work on is to do the flower petals a bit better.

  11. Hamilton East School,
Hi I'm Ariana and I am in room 12 at Vardon school. I am one of your quaddblogging buddies. That daffodil art you did looks amazing and colourful too. I think you reached your goal by creating daffodils with selected objects.
Now room 10 I have a question for you: What gave you the idea to create 3D daffodils?
