Art in Room 10
We started making our daffodils a while ago now! We wanted to do something different with our sketches so we decided to make papier mache daffodils from them.
It took a long time as we had to wait for each coat of paper to dry before we applied another layer.
It was really tricky getting the paper to stick to the wire too.
After we made them and painted them, we added two coats of P.V.A. glue to make them shiny.
We love our daffodils, we hope you do too!

The Class of 53
We had some very important visitors who came to our school.
They were the class of 53! They went to this school in 1953 and they wanted to see what it is like now.
We had a powhiri to welcome them to our school.
Here are some photos for you to see.
This woman won the Speights Shield way back then!
This is our Speights Shield winner from last year. Do you recognise him?
This lady is giving out the ToolKit Awards.
