Personal Narratives on PhotoPeach These pieces of writing are based around activities we do on weekends or in the holidays. We have worked on making each sentence exciting to read by using adjectives and verbs. We also tried to describe events without specifically saying what they were. School Cross Country

It is nearly time for us to hold our school cross country for 2013. We have been working hard to train so we can run up and down hills, round the field and out onto the road with enthusiasm and stamina.

We are really hoping to achieve our goals. We hope parents and whanau can come and see us run.

Skyping with Room 5

We have been working on 'questioning' during oral language. Our goal is to know when to ask closed questions and when it is more relevent to ask open questions.

We decided to share our learning with room 5 and then reflect on what we found out from them about themselves and their learning.
