We have been working on 'questioning' during oral language. Our goal is to know when to ask closed questions and when it is more relevent to ask open questions.
We decided to share our learning with room 5 and then reflect on what we found out from them about themselves and their learning.
Kia ora koutou. We are a group of Year 5 & 6 tauira at Kirikiriroa ki te Rāwhiti. Whaea Kat is our kaiako and we love to share our learning journey on our class blog. Please enjoy and comment on our photos, videos and writing. You can contact our kaiako by emailing her at: crichmond@hameast.school.nz

Pukete Mountain Bike Park
Today Ms O'Neil and 14 students, who had taken part in Term 1's cycle training, took their skills to the bike park.
We had so much fun, riding down steep hills and up the other side, riding through streams and puddles and doing some cool jumps.
Thanks Amy our KiwiSport Bike Officer, Renae and Emmy her helpers. Dugan our caretaker/bus driver and bike fixer, Ms O'Neil for organising the event and Lilybean for helping the bikers ride faster by her encouraging barking.
Lets go again next year!
