Science Experiment - Celery & dye

We are learning about plant life during Daily 5. We wanted to know more about how plants survive and take up water. Whaea Kat found a video clip to watch, then we decided that we should try it.

We had to wait a few days to see if anything changed.

Nature Trail

Did you know that we have a nature trail? 

It is by the Kauri classrooms and a track leads from the top of the hill down to Putikitiki. 

It is a beautiful place to sit, think, listen and sketch.

We wanted to soak in the experience of just relaxing and appreciating nature.

It is such an amazing view from the track down to Putikitiki.

The shapes that we notice are so striking.
