Week 6 Reflections
This week .......
We’ve been working hard to build the chickens their coop.
We’ve been up and down with the wheelbarrow getting
woodchips for the floor – Jayden
We had to redesign and remake the door because the first one
wasn’t straight and it didn’t fit the gap – Christopher
We’ve been putting the roof on the house. We used bamboo to
hold the rubber tiles and punga leaves were put on at the end to make the house
look glamourous – Lacey
We put shade cloth on the side and at the back. We did this
by sewing it onto the frame – Emily
We also had to make one big wall for the coop, which we made out of bamboo and
shade cloth – Chloe
We are focusing on swimming sports by fine tuning our swimming techniques. We have chosen our races and we’re ready to race – Oliver, Lacey, Jayden
We are still working on our self portraits and yesterday we sketched the giant sunflowers outside our classroom. – Namrata and Emerald
We visited our garden. We discovered lots of vegetables growing in the garden. We harvested some more beans – look how many we have now! Jayden
Our reading topic has been based on ‘swimming’. We have
learnt how to summarise and add illustrations to our work – Lackhlan, Hamish
and Lacey
